If you want advice on questions like this, it's highly recommendable to give some info about the rest of your setup. If you've got high quality gear, the Transporter could make most sense (but not if you're only using mp3).
If you're setup isn't that good, there is not much reason to lay down the cash for a Transporter, unless you plan to upgrade the rest also. But first and foremost. Start by ditching the mp3's and use looseless.
