Reading this made me remember i still had a £7 5M ebay special connecting my SB3 to my external DAC (actually sitting 10 cm from the SB3). I had a .5M cable in a cupboard, QED. Nice purple colour, less tangled cables. Can't say i can hear any major sound improvements, but its neater!
