I didn't say the mag was crap. They are showing some leadership in covering music servers as an emerging audiophile trend. But it's often painful to watch these old dogs try to learn a new trick, and I'm happy to point out the places where their coverage is flawed or lacking. I also like their coverage of other audio components. Unlike Stereophile, their reviews tend to be less about the reviewer and more about the actual component. Their music reviews are also enjoyable. They tend to review music I might have actually heard of instead of Stereophile's policy of trying to look cool by reviewing stuff that seems to be selected only for its obscurity or irrelevance. And for only 50 cents an issue, it can be used as T.P. if I actually DO have to take a crap. -- Pale Blue Ego ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Pale Blue Ego's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=110 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=49614 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
