The keyword there is development. Transporter was designed/developed to have critical stages powered by dedicated super-regulated supplies, while OTOH any linear supply -no matter how good- that is plugged into a Squeezebox still has an internal switching supply in the path before reaching the digital or analog stages. This is a well-covered topic in this forum, so if you're interested a search of the archives will turn up a lot of info. -- Skunk http://www.last.fm/user/TheSkunk/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Skunk's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2685 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=50147 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
