The keyword there is development. Transporter was designed/developed to
have critical stages powered by dedicated super-regulated supplies,
while OTOH any linear supply -no matter how good- that is plugged into
a Squeezebox still has an internal switching supply in the path before
reaching the digital or analog stages.
