Naim is a strong and successful audiophile brand. It is not a product someone genuinely interested in sound quality would go near. If you post questions like this to audiophile groups you will almost certainly get a lot of advice to spend large sums of money on audiophile products. For most audio components, genuinely high quality sound is inexpensive. Have some confidence, have a listen and make up your own mind. But be aware that unbiased comparisons require a bit of preparation and why this is important requires a bit of knowledge. Another question for a pro-audio group perhaps. The book linked to is written by someone that earns a living by promoting audiophile beliefs.
