Yeah, well, me neither I don't believe that commercial conglomerates
care about anything "better", really. Except, as you say, as an
instrument to make them sell more. I had placed my hopes on scientists
and engineers, but... I don't know what to think. Instead of that, we
are stuck between the
"skeptics/no-change-is-needed/everything-is-the-same" on one side and
some "merchants-of-placebo-effects" on the other. :(
