Superlite7,you will be happy hearing that the issue has been resolved with later s/w updates. i purchased a Transporter and also experienced minor noises from the KNOB..... It didn't detract from the superb audio coming from the Transporter. you didn't mention your opinion/experience of it's audio qualities?.
