Most pro audio shops will stock "cheap" ad convertors. Some units like Behringers or Rolands have AD built in and will allow you do a lot more , like parametric eq , some room correction etc beside just being a Ad convertor TP isnt the magic bullet re dac sonics ..some think its the best thing since sliced bread , I find it overanalytical and sterile. Your mileage may vary.
