I would recomend anything but a switched amp conventional amps still
provides less distortion less noise and lower output impedance and
better damping factor. I think Bryston puplished a white paper on that
regarding the hype with class-D amps

Switched, class D amps wins hands down when it comes to efficiency size
and price/watt. The really packs a punch if need an awfull lot of power
in a small package and they are greener.

Even if they nowdays produce class D amps, i think they have an 8 ch
multi room amp with it.

I live in small town consequently I never had a chance to hear the
Gallo speaker's so i have no specific recommendation, but buy from
established quality brands, that can take care of warranty and service,
and have good reputation for product quality. Don't go by what is most
hyped this week in the press.
