Hi, I made a listening test yesterday by my local B&W dealer. We plugged the TP directly into a Classé CA-2200 amplifier (with -10dB attenuation on the RCA outputs)and the result was just amazing. The dealer never heard about the TP before and told me that it was really impressed and that was a winning combo.
This experience definitively convinced me to skip the preamp in any high-end installation.
