I'm not sure, but I think so.  In between glitches, the sound seemed
o.k..  I can't imagine it would be degraded while it was playing.  It
isn't a problem with the analog part of the signal path.  

I bought it from Crutchfield and after speaking to LT support I called
them for an RMA.  At that point I wanted to swap.  It wasn't until later
I thought that there would be no point and I'd just be paying shipping. 
Anyway, much to Crutchfield's credit, I just recieved the replacement
unit here at work.  16 hours after my call to them.  Pretty great
service.

Since I do have the second copy I will give it a run tonight.  Do you
have a Transporter?  Is my description way off in your experience?  I
would love to make it work because the functionality and looks are
perfect.  However, it has to sound at least appreciably better than the
SB3 through my system to make it worth the $$.

I'll report back after tonight.
