I never asked for an opinion about what sounds better and have no intention of adopting the opinion of anyone else. What sounds 'better' is purely a matter of personal taste anyway. Over many years of listening to music, I've concluded that many system changes that are claimed to produce 'better' sound quality can at best be described as sounding 'different'. Sometimes what is described as better/different is simply wishful thinking. I always let my own ears decide and will eventually get around to a comparative listen of coax v optical. My question was 'out of interest only'.
