Don't know about the SB3, but there is certainly some mains ripple on
the ground plane of my SB2 (using the stock PSU), so it would appear on
the screen of the coax SPDIF output. I'd guess that the same may be true
of the SB3, since it uses pretty much the same internals as the SB2.
Whether it might affect the analogue circuitry in a connected DAC will
depend on the DAC itself, of course. If the DAC has a mains ground
connection, the ripple should be shunted to earth.
