I just went thru this last weekend. Weird timing. The Transporter has a bug in my opinion where it momentarily outputs Fs field in the C-channel as all-zeros (equals 44.1 kHz encoding) whenever there is a speed change. Since you have a purchased DAC you can do nothing about it but perhaps manually force the DAC to output the correct word clock to the Transporter. This would work but you have to switch the word clock F manually.
