These simply are NOT factors for the typical user, particularly if they had already been running SbS and using an older player like the SB3. The typical user is going to use the Touch exactly like the SB3, isn't going to have any hi-res files, and isn't going to notice any difference in sound quality. The biggest thing that the typical user will notice is the screen.
