It's really sad that the apple world has only the choices that Itunes gives it. I'd just use the apple lossless and the aac highest quality that it gives. Depending on your ipod and the room you have. The Itunes mp3 converter sucks in most opinions so I would just stay apple all the way. Their converter for aac is pretty good and the lossless is lossless. Who cares. Just make sure you don't go with another mp3 player. You are stuck but that is ok as long as you stay there.
