Even 800ps is a crazy high jitter value.  Not what I'd expect from a
better digital audio player made after 2000.

My 10 year old D2D-1 outputs under 2ps jitter (a big deal a decade
ago), so jitter concerns should be a non-issue today in a well-designed
instrument.
