As noted before, to the extent that any "break-in" adjustment is psychologically occurring at the subliminal level, it is hardly surprising that a person would have different responses to different pieces of gear or that one person would not react the same as another to the same item.
There could also be technical reasons due to design or parts selection that might cause one piece of equipment to age differently than another, but I suspect that is somewhat overblown as the root cause in most situations. It is rather ironic, but I've observed the more subjective a person is in their approach to audio, the more insistent they are there must be a physical cause of their perceptions. Sometimes it seems the subjectivists are almost embarrassed to admit their perceptions are also influenced by subjective factors. ;-) -- mlsstl ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mlsstl's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9598 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=86359 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
