I'm looking at these Western Digital Passport 1tb USB 3.0/2.0 external hard drives. They are available thru Best Buy and Amazon. I have a Macbook. Can I use these to download Hi-rez files off of a PC based system, put it on the drive, and then download the data onto my Macbook? Even though bits are bits, do I need to get one specified to be compatible with Mac's or what? I like the small size so I can throw it in the mail and get vinyl A/D and hi rez put on it and get it mailed back.
