That must be right. Mine is an Xfi XtremeMusic 7.1 SB0460 from 2005. It claims to support 24/96 recording (and better playing) but I guess that doesn't mean it is any good. I don't normally use it to play or record much music, so it doesn't matter much. I tried a comparison of the same CD track recorded twice, and even that only got a correlation of 20db. Never mind. I'll leave it to those with decent cards.
