A decidedly "Mid-Fi" approach Ralph. ;) What kind of wood? MDF, or Tasmanian Bloodwood? The differences are staggering. Nowhere in this discussion has any of us discussed the significance of placing coins (yes, hard currency) atop our components, and then arranging the coins into various patterns to reach into another, yet higher plane of sound reproduction. I saw this on the internet....so you KNOW it's true! http://www.brightstaraudio.com/technical_talk.htm Notice also the reference to toilet paper. The brand matters, and one quickly appreciates the value of audio grade toilet paper...especially when Elvis actually APPEARS in your listening room. I'm trying to pick the lock on my Son's coin bank. I need some more "change" to open up the soundstage just a bit more around here... Just as soon as my wife places those blue dots on the walls.... :) -- Curt962 Transporter...Touch....Boom...Audiolense XO ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Curt962's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=31949 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=90496 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
