I have to admit with some chagrin that, this morning, when I went back
and looked at my notes, I found that I had not listened to the Touch
default prio settings with the smaller buffer. I went back and
listened again at 20000 and found it not as satisfying as the
GuidoF/4000.

So, I set the buffer to 4000 with the Touch default prio settings and,
my goodness, I was floored. My system has not lacked for mid-range and
bass capability, but it's been the trebles that I've been finding
underdone to one degree or another--which has the effect of making the
music flat-sounding.

I've been listening for the better part of the day and am thoroughly
delighted....everything rendered with crystal-clarity and nothing over
or underdone. I will probably give it a try with the 3200 buffer to
see if it could possibly get any better, but call me a (somewhat
embarrassed) convert, now.
