Yes this has all got a bit confused, and I'm sorry if I have conbfused
the issue. But I think you will find it was post 14 of this thread,
from Human Media, to which i was replying in my post you quoted, which
asserted that you were using a wireless bridge.

I sort of took his word for it since he was telling me that I hadn't
read your post properly.

Sorry if I am being obtuse but exactly what noise are we talking about
here?
Is it noise realted to the coax signal into the MoCa bridge. 
Are we talking about noise in the ethernet signal cable or in the
screen? If it is the former then I guess you need to know how similar
it is to the frequency of the signal in order to know whether you can
filter it out.
