Hi all, I've been using my TP for quite some time now. Ethernet in, analog/RCA out. Never problems.
Today a weirdness happened and I'd like to understand what was going on. I fired up the system, including the Tranporter, to play some new music which had been auto-scanned the night before. I used the Controller to turn on the TP, selected the music, etc. It started to play. Or rather, the music was shown as playing on the Controller but no sound was coming out of the speakers. The amp/receiver through which the music plays was properly on and set, and when switched to Tuner worked fine. Turning it on and off made no difference. The TP showed the music playing, with the needles bouncing about as normal. Tried turning the TP on and off, etc etc. Nothing worked. Finally unplugged the TP from its power source, plugged it back in, re-set up, and everything worked. This implies that something had gone spontaneously awry in the TP's various mechanisms. Ideas?
