HDtracks is very savvy with respect to their marketing in that they seem
to target the audiophile market. As one can gather from a quick perusal
of many of the posts in this section of the forum, many, many
audiophiles live in the land of make believe, a land where facts and
reality are not welcome. Thus far HDTracks response to requests for more
information about the recordings being offered has been that HDTracks
can only provide the information given to them by the record company.
While this may be true, there is still plenty of information HDTracks
could provide, such as dynamic range and a review section, without
having to get that information from the record company.

Also don't expect any help to come from the audiophile press since
HDTracks is smart enough to advertise in all the high end audio
magazines and to make sure that they carefully wine and dine the editors
and reviewers of these publications.
