Did you ask this in the right tread ? But mac-mini, a computer how do you make sure that you have bitperfect output on that ? I assume that you use some software that can do this , my 0.02£ if they sound different then there is something wrong , for example different volume some re-sampling with a non transparent algorithm etc (or something else ) . If you will bother to compare i sugest taking care in . Make the mac output bitperfect with 100% volume. turn of all Replay Gain like functions for example apple soundcheck . And make sure that volume is 100% on the Touch and Volume Adjustment/Replay Gain is turned off .
