We did this at one of my previous jobs occasionally (company founded in
France :-) ) . Mostly people were able to rate down the low quality
wines, but at the upper-end there was a variance (which is my point as
well with audio).
I know people are saying here "cannot hear jitter when it is functioning
properly" or "jitter issues have been resolved". I guess I am talking
about how it is resolved in the equipment and naturally different
implementations of that "solution". I guess you will be attributing the
better sound of a Transporter (vs SBT) to better output stage (?). If
yes, why then the designers of Transporter choose different
clocks/digital chips in it ? Seems like people are allergic to the word
-  Jitter, as though it is anathema to their religion.
