What you need to understand is that because I can't easily go somewhere to listen to these things, you need to provide some kind of technical or rational explanation why this is supposed to help. Without the technical and rational bit, I have to file your post under "yet another internet anecdote about what someone liked". This is why people like to reason about what works and what doesn't. They need to employ some kind of logic to narrow down the myriad of choices. Because listening to thousands of pieces of equipment based on countless random and contradictory online opinions is inefficient and impractical.
