Yea but the power cord won't matter anyway ,just use the one supplied
with the product ,if you want minuscule of difference you have to
change the cables in your walls and possibly out to the junction box in
the street etc .
In my previus apartments I had a separate cable from the fuse box to the
room where the hifi is, but the rationale realy was to get a grounded
outlet .

Maybe a distrubution transformer shoot out in TAS :) or which electrical
company's that sounds best.

If you really need it DIY some screened power cords , and get a grounded
outlet for your hifi .

But as probably have figured the " engineers " behind these cables does
not always provide such a basic and real improvement ( not that it
always is audible but it actually does something ).
You get special alloys or some other mumbo jumbo make belief Instead .

Some of the hifi I owned where/are designed to be used with ground , so
that would be a good idea before considering aftermarket power cords .

There are some cheap aftermarket cords from for example supra that does
the basic things right shield and twisted geometry this reduces the
field around the cable and that's it .
That does not cost 5000$ like some of the snake oil cables sold for this
purpose :) and it is usually not audible differences , but I think it
simply is good electrical design to shield AC power cables .

I use some of those and DIY power cords in my cable mess behind my hifi
, but gues what I recently moved and currently does not have a grounded
outlet anymore , and I have not heard any problems so I guess it is not
readily audible in my system ( no hum or other noise ).
