Most won't care, but some will.
A little thin skinned, won't you say? Look I respect the work that Mr. God Jr. aka Steve Hoffman (Mr. God is Steve Jobs, must be something about that name Steve) does but so what? I only threw out that barb because anytime someone or something gets elevated to GOD status and develops a loyal following of little fan boys, and you are most definitely a Hoffman fan boy, all I can think of is how nice it would be to expose their feet of clay. Mr. Hoffman's clay feet are a direct result of the so called "classic rock" that he remasters. So called because at least of the titles in Hoffman's remastering resume should have stayed forgotten. And by the way, a classic jazz collection would include works from every decade from the 1920s up until the 2010s because unlike rock music jazz has not sucked since the Beatles broke up. Here's a name for you, since you are such a name dropper, Jim Anderson. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Anderson_%28sound_engineer%29 His recordings don't get remastered because he masters them right the first time. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ralphpnj's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10827 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=98249 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
