One has to be careful about "observations". When not done in a
controlled tested fashion, thousands of "observations" can be wrong.
Just because it is intuitive (eg. better power supply and analogue stage
of course can create better looking graphs...), doesn't necessarily
translate to true improved experiences.

There are many examples of observations and experiences believed by many
who are false. Heated discussions on audio forums are nothing compared
to a real debate around religion for example... There are other less
contentious ones in the scientific sphere where eventually research and
hard core proof has changed the intuitive beliefs and observations of
many.
