Lovely analogy Clive, you've made the discussion more 'interesting'.

I would however say that the measurable "attributes" of each lady would
be very significantly different (everything from physical, vocal,
intellect to personality) compared to the single attribute of *sonic*
differences of gear which is mainly what we are arguing about, right?

No matter how you slice it, the measurable objective sonic difference
between good DAC's are miniscule compared to differences between these
lovely ladies. ;-)
