Moreover, in the same set up when I strayed and decided I'd discovered another "tell" whilst listening blind, and I focussed on that instead, I failed. Then, going back to focussing on the tell I heard sighted, I started picking out stuff again.
Why this happened, I don't know. It's what I experienced anyway and hopefully someone will find it interesting, or best of all, it might lead to them trying more blind testing for themselves and reaching their own conclusions.
