Since you haven't proven my claim wrong, but in fact confirmed it, your claim that I was wrong is obviously itself wrong. I never said that speed was the only reason, but it would be OT to try to turn this forum into a highly detailed seminar about cable. This is actually pretty strange, you both confirming the thesis of my post, and trying to prove me wrong. You have yet to provide reliable evidence that CAT 8 cable has audible benefits for existing 10BT, 100BTX or copper gigabit audio networks.
