To stop myself from brooding on my imperfections, I'm now listening to Berg's Violin Concerto, dedicated "To the memory of an angel" who is generally identified as the daughter (who died at age 18) of Gustav Mahler's widow & Walter Gropius the Bauhaus architect bloke.
I know that a lot of people don't care for the atonal stuff but I've always liked this particular piece. Needless to said, I'm getting less shrillness in the playback than I foolishly believe I've encountered on previous visitations. I must be a hopeless case...
