disabling HINOTIFY the problem continue.

I enable HINOTIFY to get modification from RO when some is done (like when i
install a package on the machine that exports / )

I guess not, because the other 8 servers are still UP and they run same
applications. As users choose a server at GDM menu.

But the /var/cache/man probably there were modification on nfs server almost
same time we were writing /var/cache/man at a RW branch.
