I have been told that the next version release of dittolog will have substantial upgrades and features: The future is here! ..with lots of AI and even added hardware. Features include: - run a wing - check "all clear above and behind" - and yep, dolly and canopy check are included! - hook on The GFA is coming on-board and will waive the insurance bit: dittolog does not need to be a GFA member for insurance purposes to do the above. The AI is just about ready. Only waiting for GOOGLE to sort the self driving car "oncoming traffic swerve / baby pram" debacle. Not a biggie. The AI for the upcoming release will also include the missing and long awaited algorithm: "I care and will only be satisfied if I do a good job and will make sure that I will be operational with a system up-time of 100%"
All dittolog hardware will have firmware with all the above features enabled, unlocked by default - what a bargain! For a small extra fee you can un-lock additional features such as: - help the AEF punter fill in the GFA insurance waiver (AEF's are already sold on the club website) - welcome the AEF punter at the club, offer a cool or hot drink, guide them to the launch site Buy any of the above unlocks and dittolog will even take the money of the AEF candidate - that's a benefit for club's without "voucher purchase" on their website - an absolute bargain. Although the NEXT dittolog is not far away: don't get rid of your "duty pilots" yet. Until then it takes at least three for a aero-tow or winch launch. Three pilots: tug, duty, glider. Our tug master has been absolutely brilliant and taught our tug pilots to record the rego, pilot and up-time. I know, I know.. everyone has only ten fingers (plus minus a few..) Bummer that RA/GA is not allowed to turn their engines off - but that's only a little change of wording in a few big books with missing pages. Without the initial comment on facebook we would have never had a discussion like this. (I missed the offensive remark as I am a very sporadic facebooker) Sometimes it hurts to have a truth pointed out. If nothing is ever said - nothing will change. But hey, everything is awesome <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9cQgQIMlwWw>! And some like it like that.
