Was at the Airshow yesterday (Saturday). Geelong had a
DG300 ELAN on display. I believe it is their tug which
pulls Manfred into the air, so maybe they got some display
space via that route ?
Manfred's display was just as good as at the past displays.
His "vertical eight" was excellent, with perfect circles in
both directions. The smoke trails make it easy to pick
faults !!!

Where's the Rest?

Tighe, Ian
Thanks for your reply :-) - and for loaning the Kooka for
display
I figured the mega$ cost would have been a key issue - it's
a pity that the promoters charge so heavily for
non-commercial displays. Dassault, General Electric, Boeing
et al can afford prime rates - but it's tough for smaller
players.
And directing people - that's a bit rich! Overhead on
airshow organisers I would have thought.
I hope Manfred's Fri night display has gone well - and that
you enjoy the weekend spectacular
