A great weekend in the West again. Saturday post frontal, set 300kms, back at 3pm at 100kph dry, so climbed away after finish and did another 200km, 99.6kph average for the 500. Day just got better and better, best was at 4pm, 5 turns at 10.6knots on the averager, just about creamed my jeans! Trough was forming on Sunday, so four of us set off for a 500k FAI triangle, wasn't as good as Saturday, but we all got round, Glen Hawser finishing his first 500k in his Nimbus CU about half an hour before sunset. I had 5 hours 40 mins on Saturday and 6 hours 20 mins in the saddle on Sunday. Love that Hornet, but will need to get round to reinstalling the water bags.
