Rubbish, the quote is quite accurate. Outlook in it effort to make thinks 'easy' for the average user runs whatever executable come it's way. At least some other e-mail clients do not. I use Pegasus Mail, a free mail client and I am yet to experience a single mail virus. If you must use outlook then I agree, the latest AV software is vital. paul > > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Pete Siddall" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Sent: Wednesday, January 30, 2002 12:24 PM > Subject: Email settings [aus-soaring] Was: FAA license.. > > > > Hi Jay, > > > > >I am highly computer illiterate but I think I am using Outlook > 9.0.0.3821. > > Thats what it says in the "about" section under the "help" menu. > > > > That's the right place to look... > > > > >It all seems to work quite well from this end. > > > > Yeah, it probably does, but Microsoft software often doesn't "talk nice" > > with all the other things on the internet.
