More Bullshit. Before you make anymore statements about this subject I
suggest that you get thourougly
aqainted with the facts. The reason that the computer industry is in
such a shocking state is that comsumers
like yourself blindly support M$ without bothering to check on the
actual reality. Just the simply fact that
most people know what "the blue screen of death" is and that they accept
that rebooting your computer to
fix a problem is "normal" or even just to install a piece of software
shows just how bad the situation is.
Consider this for just a moment. If it's possible to write anti-virus
software to protect your computer then
why isn't that part of the base operating system? Why do you have to pay
for it as an add on? And just who
has the most to gain from yet another virus propagating into the wild?
Some of us are mightly offended by your blind dumbass support for a
company that has stolen public
interlectual property and convinced the US Govenment (and the wimpy Oz
Government) to support it in
doing so. Try buying a desktop computer in Australia *without* buying a
piece of M$ softcrud and you
begin to see the strangle hold this company has on the computer industry.
So if you are stupid enough to blindly use a cruddy piece of software
then that's your problem and
hopefully the viruses will eat your entire computer in short time. But
don't make dumb statements saying
it's just because it's the most popular mail client. It's sheer laziness
on the part of consumers like yourself
that can't be bothered to change to another package that has created
this situation. If it was any other
product people like yourself would be screaming to consumer protection
but for some reason I can't
fathom because it's mystical software you just accept it, and even shell
out more money to buy workaround
software and then you go out and make dumb statements supporting the
vendor.
If software was a motor car you'd be lining up to get on ACA to gripe
about it, but because it's software....
Oh and ACA are aligned with MSN anyway so you've got buckleys of them
ever saying anything against
M$.
