Hi Andrew, The last similar accident was the one in France where a skydiver came through cloud and knocked the wing (or a part of it) off a two seater. Both pilots were wearing parachutes and survived to be charged with manslaughter by the French authorities. Needless to say, they were British and the dead skydiver was French... However the scanty info we have seen about the present crash gave the impression that the sky was clear, and that the accident happened at about 2000 ft. How come the skydiver was still in free fall at such a low altitude ? Cheers, John G.
