Did anyone take any photos whilst thermalling with (how shall we put this), those pretty but annoying giant sized butterflies?
I shared a thermal with a fibreglass single seater with blue go fast stripes and winglets, and we were going great guns. Then some more jellies came to join us and just barged right in and pushed the sailplane out. Sorry about that, but rude I thought but not my fault, jellies don't seem to know much about thermal joining ettiquette, even with their own kind.
Anyway it was surprisingly easy to stay opposite even though we obviously had massively different circle radii. Would have loved to have taken a picture but I was a bit busy (life before art so they say).
So I was wondering hear from anybody who was there re comments from the perspective inside the perspex. Or better still if there was any photgraphic evidence?
I have a picture of the K13 taken around midday on the monday but it's little more than a couple of pixels in the image, and I thought I was getting real close, apparently not.
Cheers
P.
