I'd just like to say a BIG thanks to all those involved in
orginising/running/helping in the Dalby Easter Comps. Being only my second
competition I had a blast and learn't heaps. It was very rewarding flying
with the "serious" pilots and they're expensive ships. I've flown over
country side that normally I'd turn back and now feel comfortable over. My
speed has increased as has my confidence. Keep it up as it's working and
see you next year.
Time for the state comps for me now I think........

New class structure this year was..
Club Class: anything from a zeplin to a LS4/LS7(Without winglets). So
typical EU Club Class, and;
Sports Class: LS7wl - ASH-EB28
Splitting of the classes worked great for a number of reasons. I think
from a safety perspective, it was definately a plus. Mainly because there
were two start gates. Of course, by having 2 classes, there able to be
launched 'quicker' and tasking is more appropriate.
One thing I think everyone likes about the QLD Easter comps and Aus Club
Class Nats is that they are able to compare themselves to the known
hotshots, no matter what aircraft are used. Hence their was a 'Grand
Champion' award given..
Ventus2cx Rules again!
W3
P.s. Dad and I like the handicapp for the 'M' model, please keep it the
same for the CC Nationals!!!

Thanks Adam,
Yes, I agree, the new class structure seems to be working extremely well.
Does one get a better handicap for having kinky wings? ;-)
Congratulations to Butch and Woolley Pup.
