I found this rather interesting. A fellow's flying a Schweizer SGS 2-32 in
the US, and was practicing landing without divebreaks. He says somewhere in
the comments that it was a 6000foot runway and he used almost all of it

As with many of the other people that commented, I love the very innocent
"Oh my gosh, what's he doing?" and "That was like, very umm..."

It also makes you think about the good ol' days when this was common
practice.

Airbrakes? Luxury, we used to DREAM of havin' airbrakes...
