I saw your post about fitting oxygen to a Mosquito. Since I did this 2 years ago, I though I should respond. Don't know if you already have the bottle fitted to the aircraft and therefore need only to fit the regulator and EDS system. But in case you also need a bottle, the following may help. I purchased a 300 mm diameter bottle from MH hoping that I might be able to use the Oxygen retaining system in the Mosi which has a neck clamp, an aperture in the rearmost bulkhead and a retaining ring suspended further down the fuselage. The retaining ring has a hole with a diameter slightly greater than 300 mm and that bottle was long enough. However, the MH bottle is not compatible with the neck clamp. This neck clamp has a bar that fits across the bulkhead opening with retaining screws at either end that locate into the bulkhead, and a removable saddle clamp. There is an aperture through both to locate and hold the neck. I don't know, but maybe this fitting is for "European" design bottles. I believe there is a difference between US and other bottles. It may pay to investigate the neck design of European bottles to see if you can use the existing retaining system. These bottles should still be compatible with the MH regulator and EDS system. Having bought the US bottle, my solution was to make a "bucket" to fit into the fuselage. It was a fiberglass tube with a closed end and a flange at the bulkhead end. The flange secured to the bulkhead (four nuts on the flange) and the suspended ring down the fuselage was enlarged slightly so the tube located through it. A cap was then made that fitted over the shoulder of the bottle with a hole big enough to locate over the valve and regulator. The cap is secured to the bulkhead by two bolts with wing nut ends and has felt that locates against the bottle. The bottle is placed in a nylon mesh bag (orange bag) prior to sliding into the tube to protect the outer surface of the bottle. This securely holds the bottle, but it is still easy to remove for refilling. Mark Morgan did the entire job; fiberglass and fitting work, so you could also contact him. There are a number of members in our club now using the MH EDS system. It works well and is very easy to use. I would recommend it. Hope this helps.
