There is also the arrangement for parachutists to drop from FL 140 at
30 DME SW of Sydney. Inbound jet traffic is given the slightly longer
track via ODALE instead of tracking direct to Sydney from Bindook VOR
- so sport activities CAN be accommodated around the edge of terminal
areas with a bit of good airspace design.
Cairns also accommodates skydiving a lot closer in to the aerodrome
than Wilton is to Sydney.

The Qld (Bunya Mtns) agreement has lapsed. There are moves afoot to
renegotiate that as there is now (at least at DDSC) revived interest in
the Bunya wave. We recently had one of our pilots top out at over 15,000ft.
