Be real careful to have ZERO dirt in wheel well of glider and
trailer, NO retreads on trailer (yes USA still use retreads on
trailers) and you need import permit for retreads.!! as there
may be dirt between tread and tyre & get import permit now to
import trailer. Hopefully ASI is in knots (but ASI must go 20kts
above aircraft VNE) but you will need ALT with mb not inches. I
have used Garry brasher as customs agent and does a good job
always even if he goes on holidays. Some USA trailers have brake
light shared with turn indicator so ask and get your Aussie
connector and multimeter so you can sort out lights at Port pick up.

Also the compass in a USA glider will be a northern hemisphere
compass. You need a southern hemisphere version here.
If you are thinking WTF? you haven't been educated about aircraft
magnetic compasses.
