It obviously isn't a bad glider to come third when it is the only one, so new and it is pretty, unlike the grotesque Arcus.

I haven't found where the wing panels join. With any luck it will be in some place where the inner and outer panels are of roughly equal weights.

Schleichers will sell lots of them I think.

Schempps better have a Ventus 3 about ready to go as I think new Arcus orders may go away to some extent.

Hello DMcD

With respect, you missed the point completely!

The reason for the posting is the fact that this new glider had hardly
completed its maiden flight when it was put
in a trailer and driven to Finland for the world comps.
It had not undergone any performance fine tuning and the pilots flew it for
the first time at the competition.
Finishing on the podium is a truly remarkable achievement under these
circumstances and (if you ask me) worthy a
mention on this forum.

But that is only my opinion.

Kind regards to all

Bernard

PS: Caleb, I must admit that the article is well hidden. You will find it on
the English version of the Schleicher

And surely if it is not a promotion, it would be correct to mention
the complete domination of the 20M class by Arcus gliders except for
this lone ASG 32 and a DG-1000M?
