Why do you need to be supervised to get a tow? In the US you just pay the tow pilot to launch you: Chartered flight, fee for service, independent operation. Why do you have to live in a club environment? It might be beneficial in some, or even most, cases; but what is the rationale for it being mandatory? If someone doesn’t want to participate in a club, shouldn’t that option be available to them? Why is it optional for every Australian pilot except glider pilots? These are assumptions people make about the GFA system because they’ve never experienced any other ways of doing things. It doesn’t need to be that way. It doesn’t even need to be difficult for it to be a different way. - mark _______________________________________________ Aus-soaring mailing list [email protected] To check or change subscription details, visit: http://lists.internode.on.net/mailman/listinfo/aus-soaring
